BLM completely missed the boat with how they approached this issue. If they had pushed the fact police are more and more becoming revenue generators that trample on civil rights instead of making it a race thing we'd all be better off.
BLM missed the boat because there was no boat, they were protesting the shooting of the likes of Jacob Blake, who raped a girl and tried to stab a cop. Or Rashard Brooks who passed out drunk in a drive thru, got free of the handcuffs and tried to stab a cop. Or Breonna Taylor standing in the hallway as the cops returned fire after her boyfriend shooting a cop. Or Stephon Clark who broke into several cars, ran from cops, then pointed a cellphone at them in a shooters stance. And they created this narrative that hundreds of innocent black men were getting shot daily, when really it’s been going down every year for the last 20, and is only about 10-20 deaths a year. Most of whom were asking for it.
They rioted over these idiots. And we will never have racial harmony again because of it. That’s why BLM missed the boat. It didn’t exist. There was never any boat.
