Even on standard time you can do this. It will get darker later no matter if we spring forward or not. Also we've had these amazing invention called lights, they work great

The only people that like it getting dark earlier are criminals, thugs, street hustlers, rapists and artists.

You could say this to the standard time people too. Their main complaint is that if it changed then they would have to drive to work in the dark.
