I haven't been there but I have read stuff from multiple people, including the very "inclusive" liberal professional travel types and they all say, basically, that its a disgusting shithole that you WILL get sick at some point in, and that no one values personal space and that you will get groped and feel unsafe multiple times at BEST if you're a woman.
Some are nice about it but that's what they say

I've been all over the country and it's a shithole top to bottom. Thats not to say there aren't some great people there, but it stinks, the air quality is awful, the poverty is rivaled only by sub-Saharan Africa. I've never been to a place in the US thats worse than the best parts of India. IDK where you would have to be from to think it's an improvement.
