Uh, the Louisiana coast was doomed when they built levees on all the rivers. You do understand how a deltaic plain is formed and maintained, right?

Yeah I do, just because leeves were built as a result of 1927 flood, doesn’t mean we have to be stubborn dumbfricks and not change the game plan despite what we have learned about sediment diversion and natural systems in the last 100 years.

Louisiana logic: well, the army corps made this decision in 1927 , we might as well stick with this verdict made 100 years ago and not hold the oil and gas companies accountable , we should just tax the citizens for the damage army corps and oil/ gas has created. In fact let’s give them more taxes credits to frick up the coast line even more.
