That $30500 is equivalent to $97,500 today. The house would $230k.
Yeah?.. my house cost about 2.4 times my yearly salary.. if that salary is now 97k…well 2.4 is about 235k…but our interest rates were in the low teens…and that was during the 80 oil boom when house in places like Lafayette and midland were ridiculous..
fwiw Zillow values that 1350 square foot house as 170 k now..
