Honestly, id only recommend a trainer to someone who needs one or more of the following:
-help with learning lifts
-help with competing if advanced
-extra accountability

There is no reason to pay someone to design a diet as there is a wealth of knowledge on youtube. Ive seen many good nutrition threads on this forum with fantastic info as well.

A good trainer should take and record measurements and keep detailed logs of your workouts that you can take home when you are done working with him.

That’s honestly what I need. I also don’t have the equipment to get a really solid overall workout at home.
