The Vikings are indicating otherwise, with feelers put out that the market for Cousins has been soft.

Keep in mind he can't really resign with them until after March 11th or 12th-- the NFL calendar year needs to end, for purposes of his existing contract and its terms.

Most likely scenario- returns to the Vikings on a 2 year deal, somewhere around 45M per.

That’s a good deal if he’s healthy. The salary cap just had a huge bump, there will be another increase in 2025, there’s going to be 16 QBs earning at least $40M this season, and the ceiling is about to hit $60M.

The Vikings won’t be locked into a long term deal, and won’t be anywhere near the top of the market.

Falcons seem to be willing to pay more apparently Blank told everyone to do what you have to do to get Kirk. Doesn’t surprise me since Blank is getting up there and age and doesn’t have much time left. Dude wants a ring and he seems willing to do whatever it takes
