Why does that logically follow?

We're talking about different activities with different capacities to affect other people. Why does it logically follow that they would all be deemed appropriate for the same age groups?

EDIT: I don't really think age should be the primary determinant of most of these considerations.

I agree, though my point was that if you want someone to be an adult at 18 but have to wait another 7 years to vote, it's a bit ridiculous.

Overall, the whole think is a bit more nuanced than "lets limit voting to [insert unchangeable criteria here]."
