Jay seemed fired up at today's post game. He mentioned how many times he has had the top offense in the country and rattled off several years in a row.

Said today's efforts wasn't good enough. He said he couldn't believe the game finished under 3 hours.

He blamed that on the hitters swinging to early in the count and said he talked to them 20 minutes about it. But he also mentioned how much youth is on the team. He will get it right. Jay's a great coach. The offense will get to where he wants it.

I think a lot of posters are downplaying a pretty lackluster offensive start but I agree that Johnson gives them a great chance to improve.
