Weird take - though I’m not a believer, and I’d consider myself agnostic, I see utmost importance in shared values to sustaining a healthy country. Christianity did that really well. Christ’s teachings were pretty dead on for the most part, regardless of your beliefs. I don’t know of anyone in history who got it right in a simple way like Jesus did. You could be an atheist and not disagree with that. People underestimate how much good in our society comes from Judeo-Christian values.
I don’t get offended by people praying around me. I hate agnostics or non-Christians who are like that. I’d happily send my kid to a Christian school over a woke public school because of reasons I mentioned. Everything was better when we were a “Christian Nationalist” country and the anti-west anti-religion idiots are too stupid to see that.

I will say that I am a Christian who believes in the divinity of Jesus. I can, however, see the value and understand the reasons for what Jefferson did with this work.
