Most low income people I see are 50 lb overweight and don't work, they're not 'going hungry'.
I don't necessarily agree with the crawfish farmer bailout, but shelling out funds to workers / providers vs leeches is comparing apples to oranges.

You don't think the food assistance money would find their way into the hands of the workers/providers? Are you 12 years old or something?
