Not much outside of cliches I can say about you feeling dead inside. Those kids sure appreciate what you all do. You may not feel that way but you are doing what they've only ever known you to do. Go to work and help them when they need help. I spent my entire 30s feeling that way. I do think as you get older it gets easier to understand and accept. I'm 50, had a couple kids later in life and appreciate things much more than when my oldest was growing up, poor thing
