No, I have 4 of them.

My heaviest one that I wear during Northeast winters is on winter #10. I think I paid a bit over $500 for it in Nov 2014. I’ve paid for re-waxing once (~$85) and got some repairs done two years ago (~$125). Jacket still looks and works great.

Their jackets are the type that can be repaired at the fray points and are only look cooler as they wear age.

On a similar note, Filson (which is kind of US Barbour) is my go to for duffel bags and brief cases.

This guy knows what’s up.

I’m on year 9 or 10 of wearing my Barbour jacket regularly in the winter. Definitely showing some wear, so rather than fixing it, I’ve got my eye on one of those brown ones now that everybody has an olive one.

Have a couple Filson jackets, but don’t like them as much, but do wear the moleskin vest pretty regularly.

I’ve got a Filson briefcase that’s on about year 8 of abuse. It’s beautiful. Wish they had a few more options of rolling luggage though. I want to go by the Tom Beckbe store in Oxford and check their rolling luggage out. A little skeptical to just order one b/c Tom Beckbe outerwear looks great, it just doesn’t feel like it’s on the same quality level as Barbour, but is the same price.
