I generally avoid anything close to one upping people in Souls games, but here we go: last time I played a NG+ run, I think Manus took me three tries. He’s honestly not that complicated once you learn his move set. I found the four kings harder on NG+ than I did Manus. On NG runs, I usually first try him.
Go back, read the advice you’ve been given on this thread, and stay calm. If you have questions, ask them, because Manus isn’t an unfair fight.

1. Took a deep breath before playing again and did a few suicide runs watching his moves. Was so much easier to just react to him instead of worrying about my health.
2. Turned the sound off. Weirdly helped
3. In the magic phase I found having the pendant on your quick access instead of Estus is crucial. The magic attacks are really easy to block besides the frontal one. Yesterday, I lost several times because I couldn’t hit it fast enough for the frontal one because I had my estus up instead.
Not going to lie, when he only had a few hits left I just abandoned everything and recklessly pummeled him to kill him. Had like 10 estus left
