In the golden days of America, you could have a perfectly happy prosperous middle class life with only one working spouse. I wish we could return to those days.

If most homes weren't dual income then the price of goods would have to come down. Or the salaries of the breadwinner would have to go up.

We need to stop educating our women.

Yep. My dad made a pretty decent living. He was a college grad and worked in the construction industry. He had a wife, 3 kids, 2 cars and a decent middle-class house all on his salary. He wasn't like some senior VP or anything either back then, just a worker bee. That's pretty tough to do now.
