If you’re talking about the original location, it’s in a little town named Mason, TN northeast of Memphis.
I find Gus’s good, but not great. JMO.
I do miss South LA cooking. So I routinely make a pot of something once or twice a month.
Memphis is good for pork BBQ. Texas good for brisket. Boston has great food too. Cali has good light dishes.
I think the key is to just find that places’ specialty food and enjoy it.
