We don't know if he pulled the trigger. Only thing we know is that the police have arrested him on knowledge that he has some level of involvement with the shooting.

He doesn't necessarily need to have been the one who pulled the trigger. He could still be charged with attempted felony murder if he was involved

He was charged with illegally using a weapon. That means they suspect he pulled the trigger.
