If I were you, I’d figure what you want out of it. I had a prof that was JAG. He was top notch. From what I gathered, JAG def had a benefit to his career. I think folks liked that whole military background.

Find a JAG or former and talk to them.

I want to do my 4 years, challenge myself mentally and physically, then move back home and open up my own shop. I am hopeful that the workload will be broad enough to cover all the aspects of law I might see in private practice, but not so voluminous that all I do is work.
