re: Could there ever be another Hitler?

People identify Hitler as a military aggressor, seeking to overthrow many countries and to place them under his control.
But long before that he was an authoritarian leader, a dictator who abused many of his own, threatened and killed his opponents and disregarded the rule of law in his country.
It is the latter which causes so many folks to point to Trump as a new "Hitler".
So far as I know, Trump has not killed any of his opponents, but his campaign started the "lock her up" trend.
