You were comparing 100k people going to Manhatten versus Mardi Gras in a city 1/4 of the size of the burrow, which also happens to be in the largest city in the US.
It was an asinine comparison.
Not to mention you're comparing an event that is nothing but drunken debauchery versus normal tourists.

What? Manhattan has a population of 1.5 million in only 33 sq miles of land
In one single parade, Macys, their population more than doubles with 3.5 million people
That’s more than Nola Mardi Gras does in two weeks. It would be the equivalent to every single Mardi grad tourist total deciding to all go to one single parade
