doesn’t change the fact that he can potentially maintain his citizenship in his homeland, vote in its elections, and even enlist in its armed forces - all in direct violation of his solemn pledge to “absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign prince, potentate, state, or sovereignty of whom or which I have heretofore been a subject or citizen”

and the US government can do absolutely nothing to prevent him from doing so
