I worked on a lock down psych unit and in an ER for years. In my experience, the moon doesn't mean shite. Sometimes full moons were bad, sometimes they weren't. There were plenty of non full moon nights that were as wild as any full moon nights.

The full moon myth was probably more relevant before modern electricity. People would be more active on those nights because they could better see what they were doing
