I exist here. We're not in Russia, we're not in Ukraine. Most of us will never go to either of those places and gain a first hand understanding. So we're told what happens and we take someone else's word for it. From that perspective, it's not hard to see how easily we can be manipulated. How easily we can be lead to sympathy and financial support for Ukraine. Or under the idea of patriotism support an invasion of Iraq. I exist as a cynic and a skeptic because I'm hesitant to react how I'm told by politicians and media.
