I remember a story where a media photographer took a photo of a Navy vessel during WWII. The photo captured a new radar system or something similar and the government asked the photographer to remove the feature from the photo before publishing it, which the photographer did.

The justification was that transparency would give an advantage to the government’s enemies. Sounds like the same logic is being used today.

Except we’re talking about a journalist with the most popular show in the United States who already broadcasted whatever in national television.

Social media companies use the “platform” excuse to be exempt from lawsuits. This shows that they’re a publisher and arm of the government. All should be free game.
