The American Media were successful in brainwashing enough of the population into "ignoring their own eyes" (the country was great under Trump) and made Trump such a boogeyman, that even Republicans chose to willfully ignore the blatant cheating of the Democrats.

A lot of the ones doing that are the equivalent of the Together Baton Rouge people in St George… ones who depend on political favors from the mayor’s office and don’t want the golden goose to die because someone will upturn the situation they are in.
