Wade is fricking gone. Has been for 2 years. He ain't ever coming back. LSU won't take him if they chose to fire him despite his record, and if he has any self-respect he'd never go back to a school that fired him the way we did. It's time to move the frick on.

This is an LSU board, I'm an LSU fan. Not a Wade fan, not a McMahon fan, an LSU fan. I will support and root for the team and the guy we have, until such time as he ain't here anymore. Then my support goes to the next guy. You can criticize him all you like, that's part of being a fan. But whining over Wade now, is worse than those who continuously whined about Saban leaving. At least Saban won a title, and left a standing program. And he didn't put us in the NCAA spotlight in the process.

And for those who keep pining away for Wade-

SOMETHING was wrong with that dude. He clearly rubbed people the wrong way... I've never seen anyone (any head coach) so universally disliked, even by his own administration.

I think he's the only guy Dickie V ever actively attacked. Vitale generally supported and praised everyone, even those who got caught cheating. And it wasn't just the bluebloods, he was always giving props to guys at lesser schools.
I know Oats is an arse, but I've never seen a coach yell "get the frick out" like he did... even Oats with other coaches.
LSU's admin when the scandal broke, that got antagonistic in a hurry. And Wade didn't do himself any favors.
Woodward, lest we forget, wasn't there at the time, he was at A&M. He inherited Wade, who was probably the most successful coach and program we had when he came in. Yet he was real quick to give him the ax, so it wasn't HIS call, it was the higher-ups.

I take it back, there IS one coach who gets the same treatment- Tony Vitello.
