Once there is a super conference, they will have a national signing day once again, and it will be a televised event. The players will then sign long term contracts and fans will be excited.
Lawsuits will eventually challenge the eligibility rules, allowing players to play for 10-15 years at their university, carrying 3 hours per semester. Some players will opt for a college career instead of the NFL. Ultimately, college players will have more of a sure paycheck in college than the NFL. Then the NFL will seek a partnership with the super conference. Ultimately they’ll merge.
Then the college football we know will be dead. Anyone who mourns the loss will be told they’re old, or behind the times. Too bad for them.
