Worst president was Abe Lincoln.

Ok, let's start this list off with that he started a catastrophic war over money. If you know anything about the Civil War, you know it wasn't fought over slavery, it was fought over money as the South wanted to leave the Union. Why did the South want to secede in the first place? The money isn't in the raw materials, it's in the finished product and the exporting of them. The south would send their raw goods to the north to get processed and then they would get made to be sold overseas. When things got sold overseas then, they would get tariffed which is a nice handy tax that benefits the exporting country. So why does this matter? The South saw none of this tariff and wanted to get a port in Charleston so they could get their own Tariff, but the North didn't want any of that. Ok so after the war, here we go! And before anyone says the South attacked first, please remember if they would have had the freedom to secede in the first place, it wouldn't have happened.

Responsible for 350,000 Americans dying, white supremacist who didn't care about slaves in the first place and tried to deport them to Liberia (If you want more on his feelings on slavery, he wrote a letter to Horace Greeley where he said that if he could have kept the Union intact without freeing the slaves he would have), he destroyed the 10th amendment, suspended habeas corpus, started the Union blockade, imprisoned 15,000 political opponents without a trial, shutdown newspapers, restricted firearm ownership, rigged elections, started a draft, murdered protesters of the draft, divided Virginia into 2 states for electoral advantage, ordered the destruction, plundering, rape, and murder of civilian towns, used European mercenaries with government money, started the Chicago "pay to play" political machine, nationalized railroads, was an anti-capitalist, started the Morill Tarrif, set up the National Banking Act, created a temporary income tax to fund the Civil War, made medicine contraband in the south (yes he made it illegal to cure the sick and wounded), attempted to assassinate Jefferson Davis (Dahlgren Affair), used water torture on Northern civilians with knowledge of the South, cotton industry takeover / cronyism.

I could keep going. He is my least favorite president of all time and am embarrassed that he is held in such high regard. If you think he freed the slaves, just remember this, he freed the slaves in the south, that had already seceded which was it's own country, but didn't free them in the North until after the war. Makes you wonder huh?

The only good thing Lincoln did was not finish his second term.

How to make such a bad thing good? Turn him into a hero and tell people only made up things. Sorry anyone who completely gets rid of our amendments (he ignored at least 4 of them!) has a problem.
