I'm Gen X, I don't recall race relations being rough in any way growing up. I don't know what the tv thing is about, did you not watch The Cosby Show?

No I didn't. But, I never missed an All in the Family show with the great Archie Bunker. Never missed an episode of Sanford and Son either.
