I’ve now lived 23 years in Louisiana and 23 in Texas. I’ve never considered myself a Texan although wife & kids born in Texas.
Also have learned that I have some interesting direct ancestors from early days of Texas. Groce, Waller, Goodrich families and two ancestors that signed Texas Declaration of Independence.
