The taxes in the woodlands are the difference. I think the food in Mandeville is better also. Aside from that it’s the same.

Chain stores and restaurants
Suburban culture dominated by little league and phoniness.

I’d note that there’s way more of an international influence in the woodlands than Mandeville. Saudi, Spanish and European. Mandeville seems to be mostly white.
