Actually, if he had started the war with 200 submarines instead of 46, particularly if he had more submarines earlier with the range to operate in the Atlantic (instead of North Sea), he probably could have forced Britain to surrender before the US ever got in that war, then he could have devoted all of his resources to the invasion of the USSR. With Britain out of the picture, no need to get dragged into the Balkans or North Africa.

Question is would the USSR invasion had been managed any differently? The long supply lines, underestimation of the Russian Winter, underestimation of the newest Russian Armor, and lack of long range aircraft would probably have still been there. Jets probably didn't matter in this scenario.
