Moore 1
Moore 2
Moore 1 I got to watch from the 20th floor of a downtown OKC bldg. We were freaking at the thought of a tornado that size hitting a high-rise building. It turned east towards Tinker AFB before fizzling out. Moore 2 came within 2 miles of my house. I ran to my son's elementary school to pick him up because they didn't have a good shelter situation. We watched it from 2 miles away. Massive inverted cone.
The other two i've seen:
An EF1 in Norman, May of 2015. I dummied up and waited too long to get to the nearby shelter, so me and my 6 y.o. son got caught in the inflow as we ran from the car to the shelter. the inflow was 'only' 90Mph but strong enough to knock down all the parking lot light poles and strong enough to yank him out of the death grip I had on his wrist.
The other was in the mid-80's, we lived near Wiley Post airport and they suffered a lot of damage. That was the first time I experienced the "locomotive train" sound effect - super weird.
My then-fiancee was in Mustang for that F5/F6 El Reno tornado, they were in a shelter so couldn't see it.
