Email the teacher, and the principal to make certain they know that you're okay with the assignment insofar as they understand and encourage free thinking and all viewpoints without prejudice.
Then, allow your child to complete the task in a manner that mirrors the values that have been taught in your home.
If the paper is congruent to the assignment and is grammatically correct in form and flow, then there shouldn't be an issue. It IS AND ENGLISH PAPER after all, and not a civics assignment. It should be graded based on English class metrics, and not societal agendas. If there is an inkling of bias in grading that is apparent, then you go to the school board.
Children should be allowed to be free thinkers without the pressures that the leftists are pushing in their agenda-based curriculum. Values passed down within a family and culture within the home still matter.
