Miami lose 3-4
Came away pretty impressed with the Saudi side. They're undefeated 17-2-0 so this is clearly the best they got. From my understanding 7 Saudi national team players are on it plus the overpaid Euros.
Miami started out looking absolutely terrible, but managed to make it a close game at the end. People will spin this anyway they want, but a mid season form Al Hilal barely scraping by a preseason Miami team isn't the best look for them. Then again friendlies don't mean much.

You really can’t take much from this other than it was another money grab for Miami
Miami is in the preseason and their opponent was missing 7 players bc of AFCON and Asian Cup
Cant take MLS claims for players welfare seriously while Miami is doing basically a world wide tour.

And lose again. Go MLS. Must have been looking ahead to the US Open Cup

Turned it off 5 mins into it. I've never seen a back line look any less professional than that of Miami. 3 or 4 of the goals given up in Saudi have been intercepted passes in the back third.

The league puts zero emphasis on bringing in quality defenders
