I was there sitting behind baseline where the student section is now on about row 8 from the floor.
The talent in that game for both teams was incredible.
LSU had:
Stromile Swift - 9 NBA seasons
Jabari Smith - 4 NBA seasons
Ronald Dupree - 6 NBA seasons
plus
Torris Bright
Brian Beshara
Collis Temple III
side-note: Brandon Landry and Jack Warner (Walk-Ons founders)
That Arizona team had future NBA players:
Gilbert Arenas (freshman year) 11 NBA seasons
Luke Walton (also freshman year) 10 NBA seasons
Richard Jefferson (sophomore but he was injured and did not play) 17 NBA seasons
Loren Woods - 6 NBA seasons

BATON ROUGE — With a relentless, 40-minute effort, LSU marveled a crowd of nearly 14,000 with a dunk-filled, rush-the-court, 86-60, victory over the fifth-ranked Arizona Wildcats here Saturday afternoon.

The play that really iced the LSU victory was the final play of the first half. Roland stole the ball away from Gardner and found Smith on the break away. Smith converted a fake pass behind the back and power slam giving LSU momentum going into the locker room with a 38-21 lead.
