We did this exact trip a few years ago.
If you are there in the summer hit up Slide Rock Park. Kids will love it.
Pink jeep tour in Sedona was a hit as well as Devil's Bridge.
We stayed at Fairmont Princess in Scottsdale. It was nice.
El Tovar at the GC is a dump but location, location, location.
Stayed at Enchanment in Sedona.....highly recommend. Have been twice.
