Not a popular opinion but true. I've been fostering one for a family member for almost a year. Dog doesn't want to do anything by itself. Always wants me to come watch it "smell things in the woods". That's boring AF. Like having a kid who wants you to come "watch how high" they can swing. Then I feel guilty when I don't go do those things because the sadness is palpable.

The hair, sloppy food station, scratches on my door, smell and feeding requirements are just in addition to that.

I look forward to being relived every weekend.
