My peak I got 405. I’m 47 now so don’t max out, and don’t do barbell bench press. More of a fit, dumbbell guy.
I will say I can rep 225 ten times on the incline bench, smith machine. Typically do sets/reps of 8-10 reps on the dumbbells with 70-80s. Don’t go heavier than that.
The real question for older, grown men is squats (and proper squats, not the halfway shite). As I get old I always concentrate more on keeping this up. Can still hit 3 sets of 10 with 315. Occasionally I’ll go heavy and can still rep 4-6 reps with 405.
