That's the cost of trying to skimp on labor by pushing off the bagging/ringing up items on the customer. A simple cost/benefit analysis should determine if it's worth keeping self-check-out kiosks.

It’s not just that. If they keep the kiosks, then the people who actually pay for their stuff are subsidizing those that steal.
So, even if the kiosks save the stores a tiny percentage. It sucks for people that actually pay for their shite.
