No

I have plenty enough money saved up to survive til that next job comes, and work in an industry where it is likely not hard to find that job, but it's just not something I could do.

My last job got pretty rough. Small company, was struggling a bit, folks started leaving and not getting replaced so work was dumped on me in droves. I knew I had to get out, and as much as I hated it, I just couldn't do it.

I did quit before I got an official job offer, but I had 3 jobs lined up of which I knew with 99.999% certainty 2 offers were coming, so I bailed, got a nice 6 weeks off before starting the next job.

Working 50 hours per week during busy season is making it very hard to look for other jobs and go on interviews. Some potential employers are flexible about interview times, and others aren’t.

Should I just quit and start spending all my time looking for another job, or should I stick it out and try to find another job while working the 50 hours a week?
I wouldn't quit, but at some point, you gotta nicely tell your current job to frick off, you're taking that time off you need whether they like it or not( to go on those interviews)

Call in sick if you have to.
