He made plenty of mistakes and he's paying for it right now going from courtroom to courtroom. Nobody knew how to manage COVID hoax properly- if it ended up legit, he'd be blamed for mass deaths, but since it ended up a flu, he gets blamed by giving in to the alarmists. No win situation.
That's why I trust him over every other candidate. They never tried to ruin any other candidate like they have with him, and it was a coordinated effort from CIA down to DOJ all the way to media and outgoing Obama/Dem state.

Or he could have risen to the occasion, done his homework like Ron did, and told Fauci to frick off
