Last summer I was on my ATV, riding the top of my pond dam when I saw something that caught my eye. I stopped and put the ATV in reverse and began slowly backing up.
Somehow I let the bike get too far to the backside of the dam and before I knew what was happening, I was going off the back side. Still not sure how I got off and clear of the bike before it began rolling downhill.
Scary as hell for sure. I got really lucky and learned an important lesson at the same time.
