I have the E3-V2. As all have said, make sure your homing switches are set at the proper height/place. Tons of videos on this. I run marlin firmware with manual mesh bed leveling. Multitude of hacks, upgrades etc. It was my first printer. Its not an out of the box everything works perfect setup. Its a budget printer for someone who likes to tinker and learn. Once you get it dialed in, it prints really well.

I’ve got an Ender 3 V2 as well and have it dialed in and working very well. Unless you enjoy the long process of getting it dialed in (I also replaced several parts), it’s going to be a headache.

For anyone wanting something working out of the box, Prusa or Bambu Labs are the way to go.
