Interesting to watch.
While I agree the manager should have probably been on the call, other than that I really don’t see a problem here. Despite some of the criticism, I actually think they HR people did pretty well… she was clearly looking for a fight/argument, and they successfully diffused that
Companies make decisions to fire people. It happens.
