Carbon based life is so freaking illogical, and to be quite honest, disgusting. We’re nothing but a bunch of squishy meat suits wrapped on sticks. Solids and liquids go in one hole and eventually come out another. First contact, if it hasn’t already happened, will be interesting. Surely, life on other planets found a better way to doing this. We are born, we mature, and then spend the majority of existence in the process of dying. In between being born and death, we shite and puke our way through life. Seems like there should be a better option.
