That opinion is coming from your small, fan-biased brain.
No it isn't.
In no world is BI for 3 role players who aren't better than any of our current role players and two 1sts anywhere close to a fair deal.
Your bias hatred for BI is clouding your opinion.
BI is a #2 guy on any team in the nba, meaning he is a guy that can score on his own when needed. If we don't get someone similar back in the deal, then you don't ever make that deal. We can't give away an allstar caliber player for a bunch of fricking average role players, and i could care less about acquiring more draft picks. We aren't in asset accumulation mode anymore. it's win mode from here on out, and this trade makes us win less now and in the future.

I’ve been on the trade BI train for a while now and have spent a lot of time trying to get a gauge of what other teams valuation of Ingram is. The answer seems to reflect exactly how this board feels about him in that it is polarizing. Apparently some FO around the league think very highly of Ingram while others don’t.
Dunc’d On pod made an off-hand comment about Ingram a few weeks back in regards to trading him for Turner, and I believe it was Nate who mentioned BI is valued pretty highly by a few FOs, and said BI value around the league is much higher than Turner’s. The way some people act on here, you’d think we’d have to attach a first just to dump Ingram, but 2 FRPs for Turner would be a steal.
People are letting Ingram’s issues with fitting this team’s funky roster construction and clunky rotations, cloud their judgement of him as a player.

Talent and skill wise, absolutely. But he certainly hasn't accepted being the number 2 guy here and didn't really accept being the number 2 guy next to LeBron. He didn't even change the way he plays when he was on Team USA.
He can do everything on the basketball court. But he still refuses to do what the team needs. There may not be a good BI trade available before the deadline, but any trade is better than paying him 45 million to do the same things he is currently doing.
