I still get letters in the mail from a collections agency for a jay walking ticket in Houston in 2008. Throw them away just like I always have. I’ve lived in 5 different places since then and they’ve found me at every one

Subsequently found this... so ignore is the correct course of action.
"The law limits how long you can be sued on a debt. Because of the age of your debt, Jefferson Capital Systems, LLC cannot sue you for it and cannot report or continue to report it to the credit reporting agencies."
