Trev was a 3 year starter, freshman AA, and 2 time All SEC with 100+ tackles as both a soph and junior. He had kinda outshined Bradie to that point (if only just barely) even though Bradie was the bigger recruit.

So Trev leaving wasn’t necessarily a shocker. Running a 4.9 in the 40 was.

Exactly. There was nothing on the field left for Trev. He wasn't going to magically ever become more athletic.

Smith is going to be drafted based on how he tests. If he's this freak athlete we were told, he'll likely go in the top 3 rounds. If he's not that athlete, he was never going to go that high regardless.
