re: 49% of young men identified as republicans in 2023

It's anecdotal because of my location being in the reddest of red areas on earth, but the high school seniors a couple years ago when my youngest graduated, were asked by the sociology teacher which party they planned to register with. It was something like 94% Republican for the guys and 75% Republican for the girls. "Independent" was not an option.
Pretty good group of kids too, that year. It was a school record with almost 50% of graduates heading straight to college or trade school in an area where most male graduates go straight to work in the oil fields or elsewhere in the midstream industry.
I don't think we can outlast the momentum of religious secular progressivism before it completely destroys us, but the future actually doesn't look as bad if we somehow weather the storm.
